In terms of design, the regular iPhone 14 shares many similarities with its predecessor. It is still a model with aluminium body and shiny glass back. This is the third year in a row that Apple has opted for this design. Apple has refreshed its colour offering, though. The latest colour on offer is the iPhone 14 in purple.

On the back, we also see few changes. The layout of the camera sensors has remained the same, with the two lenses positioned vertically. Apple first did this with the iPhone 13, as before that the two lenses were still below each other. It is not yet known whether the dimensions of the device itself are unchanged and whether existing cases of the iPhone 13 will still fit. It is possible that the buttons have moved slightly or the camera bump is a bit bigger, so cases no longer fit (properly).
